Economic Power
´óÏó´«Ã½ Media’s coverage of economic power focuses on solutions to runaway wealth and income inequality. Achieving economic equity stems from the ability of workers to organize in traditional and non-traditional ways, including unions and cooperatives. It also means uplifting specific solutions to the housing crisis and hunger as well as educational and medical debt, and generational wealth inequity. And, it lies in broad programs to redistribute wealth via universal basic income programs and reparations for racial harms. Our vision also incorporates the value of rest and care, which do not need to be earned or deserved. The ultimate question is: Can we imagine a working alternative to capitalism?
